Bump Style
Dressing your growing body and belly can feel super overwhelming, especially the first time around. If you follow me on insta you know I passionately do not buy maternity clothing (although I know some pieces are essential for people, but having your own store does make things a little easier in the sizing up department). ANYWAYS, on pregnancy number three I have finally become (a little) better at dressing my bump in pieces most of us already have in our wardrobe or can add and continue to use well after baby arrives. I’ve put together three bump friendly looks to rock all spring and summer long! These wardrobe essentials are easy to carry through your pregnancy and well into that post baby stage.
Outfit number one and one of my most go-to looks is super easy and probably things you already have. Grab a denim jacket (for me the more oversized the better but personal preference obviously), a t-shirt dress (sizing up here is usually key to accomodate for the extra room your belly is taking up, also loving that midi length is so in style, if you are tall like me this is great)! Finish off the look with some cute runners, sandals or even boots and you are good to go.
Outfit number two is something I have worn so much this pregnancy. I never felt as comfortable in bodycon dresses when I was pregnant with the boys but they are some comfortable and this being my last pregnancy I think I have been embracing the bump in a new way. That being said, grab yourself some cute fitted dresses, typically you can stick true to size but size up if it feels more comfortable! Then throw on any cute sweater and tuck it up so that cute bump is front and centre. What is actually great about this look is you can wear it preggo or not and it is such a cute vibe!
My final look obviously had to be something comfy and there is sometimes nothing better than an oversized sweater and leggings. Leggings are definitely personal preference but I grabbed a few pairs of lulus in a size up from my regular size and they are high waisted perfection. My go to sweaters are Brunette the Label, the “not your boyfriend” fit and “big sister” are the best oversized styles whether you are pregnant or not. Pair this look with an oversized jacket or blazer and you are good to go almost anywhere!
Well, that’s it, that’s all! Those are all my favourite and go-to pieces to showcase and embrace your bump this upcoming season. If you try out any of these looks pretty please tag me on insta, would love to see all you cutie mamas-to-be- bumping away! Have a wonderful week babes!
