Last Minute Halloween Ideas
Okay this might not be the most inventive blog post of all time but tis the season for dressing up and I did not want to be left in the dust. I am going to be honest these were thought of a few weeks ago, very spur of the moment, and although they aren’t perfect I do find them quite amusing. Also not super original (que everyone in the world has done the “she doesn’t go here” bit) but I don’t care cause I had a laugh putting them together. Just in case you need a few last minute ideas for the halloween party you didn’t think you were going to attend but now you are, here you go . . .
Up first, the not so original, Damien from Mean Girls “she doesn’t even go here” look. I think this is hilarious every year and this cult classic never goes out of style. Of course you should have a blue hoodie and not a pink one but decided to use what I had and I think the costume would hit regardless of the sweater colour. All you need is a white piece of paper, a hoodie, and some dark shades, now tell me that isn’t the easiest? Ya. It is.
Next up I thought of this little number because for some reason, “call me, beep me, if you want to reach me” is a sound track that has played in my head on and off for the last fifteen years give or take. Do not even ask me why. Again I could have spent a little more time and attention to detail (a red wig would have been a good touch) but I think the Kim Possible look worked. All you need is gloves, black boots, a black mock/ turtleneck of some kind, some cargo pants (which lucky for us are back in style), and a belt (a utility belt probably would be best). Pretty easy to whip together with odds and sods around the house I think, but you tell me . . .
Lastly, I had a dream this little girl was standing beside my bed, do not even ask. But made for a quick and easy last minute idea if I do say so myself. Still don’t know who I’m talking about ? The mean little girl in finding nemo, the dentist’s niece I believe, DARLA! Again outfit choice could have been better in regards to colour choice etc, but I worked with what I had. All you’ll need is a plastic bag, a toy fish (bonus points if you make sure it is floating “belly up”), some wire for the headgear and some pigtails. You gotta admit this is kinda funny right? Right . . .
Well that’s it for me. A few last minute ideas to get the creative juices flowing for next week’s festivities. Pretty please head over to the gram and let me know what y’all are being this year! And of course, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
