Fall HAUL
As much as I love summer and I think a lot of you will agree, fall is my favourite time of the year for fashion. Cozy sweater season is a universal love language, and this year especially there is no shortage of cozy. I mean if 2020 has brought us anything, it is the year of work appropriate loungewear. I’m pretty sure that is not going away any time soon. But with that being said, there are still some gorgeous pieces I think we should all be adding to our wardrobes that aren’t just cozy essentials. This season we have seen a revive of the 90’s in the best way. Sage green, dusty pinks, and basic beiges & browns are also super trendy this season and I for one am loving it! I’ve put together a little try on haul/ styling session of some of my current, early fall obsessions from the shop. I will be sure to attach some links in case y’all want to see anything up close and personal on the website, or better yet if you are local pop into the shop and say hello! Let’s get started . . .
OH PLAID, it really is so rad. That is getting annoying isn’t it? Anyways, there are so many great plaid pieces gracing us this season and I am here for it. Can we say, AS IF! Cher, anyone?. . . Moving on LOL . . . the little plaid number below is one of my absolute favs because of how soft it is, but also because how it looks styled with just about anything. It has a bloused sleeve and a front tie that happens to pair perfectly with my new favourite high waisted Modern American jeans. Also, had to add in the cutest new mini backpack to this look (it converts to a crossbody too, you are welcome).
Next up, my go to always is having a jean jacket (or 5) that pair perfectly with any transitional outfit. This t-shirt dress is my absolute favourite. Not only is it pink, but it is also in collaboration with Juicy Couture and Brunette the Label…like how perfect? It is super easy to dress this look up or down AND it’s comfy as heck. Win, win, win!
Over the last few seasons I have really seen the value in investing in some great staple pieces which then I’m able to add trendy bits to throughout each season. Having a basic white tank and a great pair of jeans are so key to pair with basically anything. In this case, I wanted to show you guys my favourite new cardigan and bomber jacket that I am seriously vibing with from Gentle Fawn. Is anyone else obsessing over old lady chic cardigans this season, or is that just me? Anyways, here ya go… a few styled looks starting with the easiest foundation. (If Beau didn’t make an appearance in at least one photo would this even be a successful blog styling post? The answer is no).
Last but not least, I am in LOVE with this fall dress from BB Dakota. I think it is always key to add one “special” piece to your seasonal wardrobe, especially being a new mom it is nice to have something that feels a little extra. This dress is the perfect combo of sweet and sassy (just like me, wink wink). But really how cute is the pattern? The sleeves, and that slit . . . YES GURL! It really is just an overall great dress that has a lot of elements that can work for a lot of different body types.
Hope y’all enjoyed this little fall haul and as always hit me up with any styling questions on my IG. Cheersing you all with a pumpkin spice latte, let the best basic b*tch season begin!
