The Perfect Match
Alright if 2020 has brought us anything good, it is matching sets. I mean 2020 has been a bit of a crap shoot if we are being completely honest, BUT I really believe matching sets have united us in comfort and fashion. Yes that might sound a bit dramatic but have you ever loved a trend so much? Thought not. I’m not sure how many sets is “too” many but I certainly do not have a shortage of them. The main thing I’ve found in my matching set purchasing journey is to look for quality. Investing a few extra bucks is well worth it. Of course you don’t always have to wear them as a set which is another great factor because sometimes together they look a little too “loungey” for real life activities (if you are still doing those) but as separate pieces they can give you so much versatility.
I don’t have that much more to say about them because their amazingness speaks for themselves. This is really an appreciation post for these cozy wonders we didn’t know we ever needed until a pandemic took a strike at our fashion game. Without further ado here are some of my favourite sets of 2020 . . .
* I’VE BEEN LOVING HEARTS ON EVERYTHING (ANYONE ELSE?) AND LOUNGE SETS ARE NO EXCEPTION. THIS COZY SET FEATURES A WIDE LEG PANT AND OVERSIZED TOP THAT ARE OH SO COMFY! ALSO IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING THIS YEAR HAS ME NEEDING ONE MILLION CUPS OF COFFEE A DAY AND ALTHOUGH MY BUTT MIGHT BE EXTRA BIG (THANKS WATSON . . .) I STILL NEED MORE CAFFEINE THAN THAT , YA THAT IS A LOT OF COFFEE HONEY (CRYING FACE / CRYING LAUGHING FACE) *
* THIS MARBLE DYE SET IS BEYOND MY WILDEST SET FANTASIES. BRUNETTE THE LABEL HAS SERIOUSLY UPPED THEIR GAME (IF THAT IS EVEN POSSIBLE) AND THEY HAVE SOME GORGEOUS SETS FROM BASIC TO BOLD! THESE ARE AVAILABLE AT BELLE’S IN STORE AND ONLINE. WE LOVE THIS RIGHT? RIGHT! *
* THIS FREE PEOPLE SET WAS NOT CHEAP BUT IT WAS SO, SO WORTH IT! I WEAR THIS SWEATER ALL THE TIME, LIKE PROBABLY TOO MUCH, BUT IT IS SO GREAT. LOVE THE SHORTS AND SWEATER FOR SUMMER DOCK DAYS AND THE SWEATER FOR EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR. AGAIN, WORTH THE INVESTMENT, NO QUESTION! *
