Style Your Romper From The Sheets To The Streets

I’m often told how much my customers love the comfort of their rompers but, that is more often than not followed by, “I don’t know how I could ever wear it out of the house.” I think comfort in fashion is so important (and not just during a global pandemic) but there are so many ways to elevate simple pieces, like a S&T romper, to bring them from stay at home cute to dinner date chic and anything in between.

It is definitely no secret that I love Smash & Tess, honestly what is not to love?? But they can look a little too much like PJs if you don’t know how to style them. Here are some super simple tips to bring these comfy, Canadian made, lounge pieces from the sheets to the streets, honey!

One of my absolute favourite and go to ways of styling my rompers for every day are by adding a jean jacket & sneakers. Literally the easiest thing to do and it always looks cute. Also if it gets too hot just pop your jacket around your waist and boom, still adorable.

Adding a Kimono, lightweight sweater, really just adding another layer is another easy option. A blazer can really elevate these cozy essentials to make them work appropriate - you are welcome. Usually with this kind of a vibe I will throw on a little bootie or dressier flat on and add some jewelry if I really want to spice things up. Still super comfy but a little more presentable at the same time.

I love to add a chunky knit to anything and if you want to double your comfort this is the way to do it! I love this for fall and I love adding a boot with a heel and some statement earrings to really pull it together. Put this all together and voila you are living your cutest, comfiest life honey!

There are so many things you can add and do to bring up your fashion game while still being the most comfortable you will ever be. Also this post wouldn’t have been complete without an appearance of a dog or a child and some toys in the background so hope you enjoyed it.
